Planning for a greener future: community environment initiative

During the rainy season of 2008, over 2,000 tree seedlings have been planted in a new initiative that will create a green belt throughout Nakaloke sub county. Working together with community leaders, moblisers have been identified amongst local residents to monitor the growth of the young trees and to establish a continual production of seedlings by establishment of seed beds located throughout the community.
