Most of the foods we use are locally grown either by Salem or purchased from local farmers.
Uganda is a highly fertile country with tropical fruits and a good range of vegetables.
Organic vegetarian
In line with the founding principles of Salem, of respect for all life in the pursuit of peace and environmental protection, our Guest House is vegetarian. Most of the food is organically grown and a healthy diet can be enjoyed here.
Menus
We offer both Ugandan and international menus. Advance request is needed for some items. Special requests catered for according to availability of supplies. Home baked bread.
